Current Student Reapplication – Due May 15

We are beginning the financial aid application process for 2017-18 and want to highlight two important changes:

1. You’ll use earlier income and tax information, and current year asset information. For the 2017-18 academic year, we will determine a family contribution using parent and student 2015 federal income tax information and current assets (at the time that you file the FAFSA and CSS PROFILE).

2. You’re able to submit your FAFSA and CSS PROFILE at the same time, using the 2015 tax data to complete each application.

-Use the “Link to the IRS” data retrieval tool, if you are eligible.

-Be sure the information that you submit on the FAFSA and CSS PROFILE is the same.

-Note: If you received NYS Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) as part of your aid award for 2016-17, be sure to complete the TAP Application by using the link at the end of the FAFSA, or by applying directly through HESC.

Our deadline for continuing students filing for the 2017-18 year is May 15, 2017. We will be updating Student Center To Do Lists by December, but you can start to complete materials now. We will begin notifying applicants of aid decisions in May via email to the student’s Cornell email address.
