College Board's IDOC Service Video Transcript Cornell uses the College Board’s document imaging service—known as IDOC—to collect and process supplemental materials required for your application for financial aid. Instead of submitting tax returns and other financial documents to Cornell, you will submit them to IDOC through their secure online upload or by postal mail. Cornell’s financial aid applicants will receive notification from IDOC to begin submitting taxes and other documents for financial aid. Log in to your IDOC account at idoc.collegeboard.org using two of the three options for identification. After entering your personal and family information, you will be directed to your IDOC Dashboard. The Dashboard allows you to view documents that are required by Cornell, to upload documents securely, and to track the progress of the documents you’ve submitted. Once IDOC receives your materials, you will receive an email from the College Board indicating they have been processed. We recommend you review your IDOC Dashboard a few days after submission for any follow up messages from the College Board. Be sure to check your Financial Aid To Do List to confirm that Cornell has received and processed them as well. Cornell’s To Do List typically updates 5-7 business days after your IDOC Dashboard is updated. IDOC will accept student and parent U.S. or foreign tax returns, W2s, 1099s, and federal verification documents. Noncustodial parent taxes may be sent to IDOC or to Cornell directly. Assistance with submitting your IDOC information can be obtained from the College Board or from Cornell’s Financial Aid Office.
