New York State Residents

Cornell offers financial aid to meet the needs of all New York state residents. For in-state residents, the cost of tuition depends on which undergraduate college you enroll in. The following are sample financial aid packages for three in-state families. The profiles provide an overview of how each financial aid package was developed. Please keep in mind that each family’s situation is unique and needs to be reviewed during the application process to determine final eligibility.

For this family, there is no parent contribution and no loans. The student contribution is $2,700/year. Here’s how:

  • Albany, NY first-year student, School of Industrial and Labor Relations
  • $40,000 household income
  • Family of four single parent, two younger siblings
  • $2,000 household savings

Financial Aid Offer:
