Financial Aid Calculators

We know that understanding the costs of admission and available financial aid is an important part of your college decision. Our goal is to make sure financing a world-class education at Cornell remains achievable for you and your family. Use these tools to look beyond Cornell’s "sticker price" and gain insight into the true cost of a world-class Cornell education for your family after financial aid.

Quick Cost Estimator, by MyinTuition

This tool asks a simplified series of questions to estimate* your costs and aid within a likely range. This estimator works best for families with straightforward federal tax forms. For families with complex tax forms, such as farm-families, small business owners, or income sources other than wages, the net price calculator is a better option.

*not intended for prospective graduate, professional, or international undergraduate students—official aid offers require submission of all required institutional aid applications and supporting documentation if requested, and official aid offers may vary from quick cost results.

Net Price Calculator, by the College Board

This calculator asks more sophisticated questions that mimic key sections of Cornell’s institutional financial aid application, the College Board CSS Profile, to estimate* your family’s net price for one academic year of full-time undergraduate study. This calculator accepts more complicated inputs than the quick cost estimator and may help you gain a more detailed estimate of your expected family contribution and need-based financial aid you may qualify for.
