Cost of Attendance Increases
All aid applicants are assigned an estimated Cost of Attendance budget (COA). Your COA is a reasonable estimate of typical costs to attend for one academic year and includes, but is not limited to: tuition and fees, books, course materials, supplies, and equipment, transportation, miscellaneous personal expenses, and living expenses (food and housing). Your COA includes both billed and non-billed costs, is used to calculate demonstrated financial need, sets a limit on total aid you can receive for the academic year.
Requests to increase your COA can only be considered for allowable, education-related expenses that exceed amounts included. Requests to increase COA for expenses that already included or not allowable cannot be approved.
Complete this form to:
- request an increase to the allowable educational costs included in your COA; and
- request student loan funds to meet an approved increase.
